The game can be a 10/10. However, there are two major issues. The first issue is the network connectivity for this game is awful as it glitches out and prevents users from finishing about half of the games started (after spending a good amount of time in them which can be frustrating). The second issue is there is no record keeping for wins or losses, which is huge for games involving player profiles and online multiplayer. This being a premium game, we should receive these improvements asap.
Fun game. I'd give 5 stars if you could earn tokens and boards instead of paying for them and if you could save games with friends to pick up where you left off. Takes a while to complete a game and should be able to take turns back and forth without both players being online at the same time. Should be able to save game progress between friends to continue later.
Game crashes way too much. Also, it doesn't allow free parking in the online game or collecting 400 at go on online play, like everyone grew up playing. Lastly, and the most annoying is allowing people to just sell off everything to one person for a dollar to screw the game up. If the person wants to leave their should be a button to press. Then the bank takes those properties and makes them available to be landed on but bought in auction mode when someone lands on it.
It's classic Monopoly. There are some options to customize the game with house rules but not as many as I would like. My biggest complaint is there's no progression or earning new boards, game pieces, or dice. You already have to buy the game and then you have to purchase all other pieces too. If you just want to play OG Monopoly though, the game works well and is true to the classic.
The game is way too buggy, when playing with friends there is no option to rejoin a game if you get disconnected because of a bug. If you misclick and exit the game for more than a second you have to start a whole new game and have everyone rejoing again. I've had games with random players freeze up out of nowhere on multiple occasions. The interface and gameplay is fine, just way too many bugs that make it nearly unplayable. Half of them could be fixed if there was a simple reconnect button
I will make it an even 3 across the board, the game play is great, rules can be customized, love the online version with the video chat, game only lags when there's bad service, great choice on tokens and boards. However the game being at a cost, the dice selection is good not many choices👎 would like the option to customize my own themed board, all the themes are good but some are very basic, kinda boring, would like more options. Would also like to see short mini games to do with friends.
the fact is that the game freezes frequently after 30 or 40 minutes into a game, often times certain properties on the board are unresponsive to taps, making game play a 50/50 shot. for a paid app, it's rather disappointing. been playing this for years and the issues have never been resolved by developers, in fact there are more bugs now than when I first bought this. Shame because it's an American classic and could be a really successful app and very fun game.
I feel like for $5 it should be more of a complete game without spending money but it is a fun time waster on the basic modes/online. I do have issues where it just freezes and I have to stop a game completely. Especially in no service areas even if playing offline. I have mostly got around this issue by using airplane mode.
